<p>This course runs for a minimum of 2 hours.</p>

<p>Demonstration of bottom bracket cartridge replacement (if yours needs replacing, we can order the correct part for your bike by prior arrangement, and you can perform the replacement on your bike)</p>

<p>This course runs for a minimum of 5 hours including lunch break. BYO lunch)</p>
<p>Cost: $120 (inc GST) includes the Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair 2 valued at 49.95</p>
<p>or $85 (inc GST) if you already have BBB-2 (you must bring it along)</p>

<p>As the bikes of today are a fairly complex machine, this course will be based around the procedures a bike mechanic would perform on a new bike having its first (90 day) service. Demonstration bikes, which will be out of adjustment, will be set up for participants to learn how to adjust correctly, including:</p>
<ul>
<li> Gears</li>
<li>Headset</li>
<li>Basic brake adjustment</li>
<li>Wheel truing demonstration</li>
<li>Discussion and demonstration of threads, lubes, leverage, and more to gain an understanding of basic engineering principles of the bicycle.</li>
<li>Discussion and demonstration on the use of tools and tools selection</li>
</ul>
<p>This course runs for a minimum of 5 hours including lunch break. (BYO lunch)</p>
<p>Cost: $120 (inc GST) includes the Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair 2 valued at $49.95 or $85 without the BBB &#8211; 2 (couples, family members, etc only need one BBB &#8211; 2)</p>
